As spring break is headed our way, I thought I would share some of my favorites for fun in the sun!! When on vacation, comfort and sun protection are key, but we all want to feel pretty, too, right?! Here are some spring break must-haves💛
Best Sun Hat Ever!
The Wallaroo Hat Company’s sun hat has it all! Best part? You can put it in your beach bag, folded up and it doesn’t mess up! It’s perfect for a day at the beach or even a kids sporting event! As we age, we need to protect our skin from getting more age spots and this adorable brim with 50+ UPF will do the trick! Also, it comes in 8 fun color options!
Swim Suit & Coverup from (where else, but) TARGET!
An adorable coverup to match I actually saw being worn by a girl at the pool and loved it! I asked her where it was from & she said Target – so cute and affordable! It’s called the Woven Kaftan Cover Up Dress.
I absolutely love these Sanuk flip flops! The bases are made of yoga mat material and feel like walking on a cloud!! They come in wide straps and thin. I have the thin straps now but have also owned the wide straps in the past.
Sun Protections of Choice
Sunblock! Ladies I have a friend that I call the skin police and you know what, her skin is gorgeous! Why, you ask? Because she wears sunscreen daily and also puts on hats to protect her face! The Obagi Sun Shield Matte Broad Spectrum SPF 50 Sunscreen is one of my favorite face sunscreens – there is no scent and it goes on smooth and is even great under makeup.
Sunscreen for you body is completely necessary! I tanned great over my week away wearing 30 SPF the entire time! It is a complete misconception that you can’t get a beautiful tan while still protecting your skin. I love Neutrogena and the smell of their Beach Defense spray on is lovely!
This lip balm is amazing and, honestly, its a favorite of mine that I use regardless of the occasion! The Glo Skin Beauty Lip Balm has SPF 15 and is the size of a glue stick, much larger than traditional lip balm. This means it lasts much longer and is super easy to find in your purse of a million things!
We always need something to read at the pool or beach and I was totally inspired recently by Jen Sincero’s book YOU ARE A BADASS. It really made me think about my life and the type of person I want to be. It gave tips on how to face my fears and encouraged me to jump into each day being grateful to be present. Highly recommend!!!
I hope you enjoy these recommendations for your spring break getaway!
