So I’ve recently moved into a house in Austin, Texas and completely renovated about 90% of it. I’m super excited about the results but, like any construction project, there were MANY unforeseen delays and it took 2.5 months longer than expected… literally the DAY BEFORE we had our first guests arrive was the last day we had workers here. At any rate, the construction is done, it’s furnished and we are at the point now where we have all blank walls that need some LOVE! I’m a huge fan of putting up pictures of family and friends, especially since we live so far from most of them, however, I feel like often times this can look cluttered. I’m trying to keep a really clean aesthetic in our home – our walls are variants of white and the trim is on the modern side, but I also want it to feel cozy, so I’ve been collecting ideas on ways to do gallery walls for the following areas in my home – the stairway, upstairs landing, and upstairs bonus room.
Here are some ideas I’ve found online…

Most importantly, I’d like to achieve these looks without spending an arm and a leg… From what I’ve read, IKEA has a couple of great, affordable options, as well as, Hobby Lobby. I plan to start my search there and see what I find.
Let me know what you would do! I will follow up with a part 2 once they are complete 🙂
